I had my weekly appointment yesterday and my doctor stripped my membranes. This morning I woke up to two surprises, I lost my MP (I'm not sure if this is a sign of impending labor, or if it's just because she stripped my membranes?) and I have an awful cold! I have a sore throat and a bad cough but no fever. I've also been having contractions off and on all day, nothing too bad and they're still a little sporadic.. I'm hoping they don't get any worse until I have time to get over the cold. I've been so worried about people touching my LO and getting him sick, and now I'm the one with the germs! I'm so worried that I'm going to end up in L&D and then not be able to enjoy bonding time with the baby because I'm sick
Re: So what if I'm sick when I go into labor?
No answers, but I sympathize - I have a cold too
So far it's just coughing and sneezing but it's still bugging me; I'm going to ask my OB about it at my appointment on Tuesday.
Maybe we'll all miraculously feel better by the time our babies are born, heh
