Should there be a TTC>35 Grad check-in on occasion?

Since I lurk on the other board, I know some of our lucky friends miss us.  What do you guys think about having a sporadic check in so they can come say hi to us?  While we can lurk and occasionally post over there, they don't want to upset us with tickers but want to cheer us on and say hi from time to time. The post would say "beware of tickers" or something like that so people can skip it if they are having a bad day and can't see the tickers.   I've seena  3T Grad check in so that's where I got the idea... Thoughts?

TTC #1 since 8/1/10; Me:41 and BRCA1+, DH:46
DOR (FSH 24.3)/ terrible egg quality ; homozygous MTHFR c677t
5 IUI's: 2/11 to 6/11 and 1/12= BFN
OE IVF#1-4 8/11-6/12= all BFN

CFNBC 7 months, not doing well; decided on guarantee program at RBA w/frozen DE

DE FET#1 ET 3/1714; BFP, beta 1 3/27= 197, beta 2 3/31= 1586, beta 3 4/7= 13879!!

    Sounds good to me. We need to hear from our Grads from time to time. 
    Single Mother by Choice. Life didn't work out the way I planned so I did it on my own. IUI #s 1-3, unmedicated = BFN, IUI #s 4-6, 50mg Clomid, Ovidrel = BFN IVF #1: 23R, 20M, 17F. 5 day transfer 2 blasts. 2 Snowbabies BFP 6dp5dt, Beta #1 7dp5dt = 58, Beta #2 9dp5dt = 114, Beta #3 10dp5dt = 187 1st Ultrasound = 5/3, not much to see yet. 2nd Ultrasound = 5/17, TWINS!!!     ME:46 MH:44 DE IVF 2014
    Met with RE 4/11. 2 IUI's BFN. DE best option. Switched clinics to do "shared" program. Had to retake all tests and a mamm that put me behind and then on a DE waiting list for 12 months. Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled. One of her tests came back positive.  Waiting for another donor. Donor picked!! (1/18/14)

    DE IVF #1 (4/26) BFN  DE FET #1 (6/4) BFP! Beta 1=339 Beta 2=852 Beta 3=9957 EDD 2/22/15!!

    Sounds good to me, I miss the grads...
    TTC since 3/2010. Me 41, DH-49. After 3 years, 6 IUIs and several IVFs we have finally have our beautiful baby girl, born on 11/7/13.

    That would be a great idea.  I keep checking on some of our grads on other boards and hope we all join them soon.  It would be nice to hear how things are going for them.  I know if/when I am lucky enough to move on, I will come back to check on you ladies all the time.

    I love this idea!  Sometimes the ONLY thing that keeps me TTC is knowing that some of my pals have had success, which is why I lurk over at PG 35 every day.  Can't wait to see some updates over here!

    Me: FSH 13.4 + AMH 0.26 + hypothyroidism; Scratch the hypothyrodism (?); Blood clotting and immune panel all negative; endometrial biopsy normal

    IVF #1 (MDLF - Jul/Aug 2011): BFN (9R, 5M, 3F with ICSI, 3dt of 1 10-cell grade 2, no frosties)
    IVF #2 (EP-antagonist - Sep/Oct 2011): BFN (6R, 4M, 3F w/ ICSI, 3dt of 1 6-cell, 1 7-cell, grade 4s, no frosties)

    me (36): Hypothyroid (on Levothroid), low vit. d, borderline/high fsh (day 3: between 7-10) (day 10: 13 during CCCT), AFC: 14
    dh (31): awesome (minus one sample with agglutination)
    Diagnosis:possible DOR and/or unexplained + elevated NK cells + MTHFR (C677T - one copy)

    MAY 2011 - FEB 2012 - 3 injectable IUI's with numerous cancellations due to high TSH levels
    MAY 2012 - onto IVF/ICSI (Antagonist Protocol) on BCP and Folgard (3 week delay - cyst - boooo) 5/21 start stims 5/30 ER 11R 8M 3F 6/2 3DT of 3 6/12 Beta #1 83 | 6/14 Beta #2 196 | 6/21 Beta #3 3818 | 6/28 Beta #4 22,213 | 7/2 1st U/S - 2 on board! 8/24 CVS reveals that we have a boy AND a girl on board!

    Healthy baby boy and girl born in February, 2013 at 38 weeks and 2 days!

    I remember when I first started coming on this board JordanAlmond announced her BFP. It gave me such hope and I thought this would be a piece of cake...I was wrong about the cake, but I still have hope!

    P.S. I went to a wedding at the Towers years ago and it was one of the nicest weddings I have been to.  Lucky you getting married there!  It must have been a great wedding!

    I love the idea. I think their success helps to give us hope at times. I  don't know about weekly, maybe that is a bit much but then again I don't know how much changes in a week of being pg so I really should stay out of that part of the question.
    M-43 DOR (FSH 20 AMH 0.16, AFC 4-6) Endo stage III DH-42 (low everything)
    TTC #1 unofficially since 6/09, officially since 10/10
    6/11 RE testing,rt tube blocked with hydro, 8/11 lap surgery rt tl
    IVF#1 10/11 Estrace,450 Follistim, 15 units low-dose HCG, DHEA - cancelled (only follie growing)
    IVF#2 started stims 11/4/11 - same protocol, increase in concentration of HCG, added CoQ10, no response, cancelled on CD 12
    12/2/11 began accupuncture; Break in Dec. Next cycle anticipated in Jan.

    I also lurk to look for BFP's and just see how everyone is doing. I had my son, Nolan, on nov 27. It was a long labor that sadly ended in a c section, but we are both healthy. DH and I know we are very blessed.

    Yay, I just lurked over there so I could see more weddings, glad you posted it! I love looking at the pictures of everyone's day. So glad everyone enjoyed that GTKY, I wanted to talk about mine too so I started it.

    TTC since 10/09 Me-43 DH-44 RE and testing 10/10-11/10, Recommending IVF 1/11 New RE AMA and DOR-DH low motility IVF #1.1 cancelled 3/11 due to poor response IVF #1.2 May 2011, one perfect 8-cell embryo, 3dt-BFN, IVF #2.1 Converted to IUI d/t poor response. New RE 9/2011. IVF 2.2 completed using HGH,EPP,DHEA, Q-10 and accupuncture. Transferred one 8-cell, grade one embryo on 10/19. BFP 10/31/11 Chemical pregancy on 11/2/11. Started stims for IVF #3, our final try, on 12-2-11. ET on 12/18. Transferred 3 Grade A embryos-BFFN Planning DE IVF, late March/early April- Donors ER expected to be 4/2-4/4. PAIF/SAIF welcome

    TTC #1 since 2/10 Me 38 FSH 12.9 & AMH 0.16 DH 47, low sperm count due to meds. 07/11 We have sperm! 28 million, 70% motility, morphology 1% normal. 08/14/11 1st IUI unmedicated BFN. 09/11/11 2nd IUI w/ Femara + trigger BFN 10/14/11 trigger & Final IUI 10/16/11 BFN 10/21/11 Started acupuncture and loving it! 01/21 ET one embryo 6 cell grade C. Beta 02/02. BFN. Taking a much needed break. image

    Yes....Yes....Yes.....Love this idea!!!  I am feeling a bit overwhelmed trying to keep up with the different boards that I lurk around.  Unfortunately, my bump time is limited and I spend most of my time on TTC after 35.  I always check PG after 35, and try to make it over to Infertility too.....especially when I'm cycling and there might be cycle buddies there.  Check in would definitely make it easier when time is short!  Love all the ladies who have been lucky enough to move on, just wish I could be in that camp too.

    Me = 38, Husband = 31. TTC since 1/10. M/C at 8 wks 5/10. Started trying again 9/10. All tests normal: AMH/MIS, FSH, HSG, SA. Estradoil high. 6/20/11 - Clomid+Ovidrel+IUI#1=BFN. 7/17/11 - Clomid+IUI#2=BFN. 2 natural cycles = BFN. 10/6/11 - Clomid+Ovidrel+IUI#3=BFN. 10/31/11 - Clomid+Ovidrel+IUI#4 = BFN. 11/26/11 - Follistim+Ovidrel+IUI#5 = BFN.     I like the idea, too!!  I know - God willing ;-) - when I get pg, I will be so sad to leave my friends here... it probably feels like you've been through so much together, and then can't continue sharing once you've graduated...  And I think it would be inspiring and uplifting to hear about the grads pregnancy experiences.  So -- I vote for YES!

    Though I haven't been gone long, I already miss it over here. I would participate in a check-in every now and then. I also lurk here every day :), but I haven't been posting a lot on the pg boards due to paranoia. I have been in a kind of weird limbo.

    IVF #1 ET 1 d3 embryo 10/30/11 BFP
    3 Embryos frozen (1 d5, 2 d6)

    DS born 07/29/12

    FET #1 ET 1 d5 embryo 02/10/15 BFN

    FET #2 1 d6 embryo didn't survive thaw, transferred last d6. CP :(

    Hi Ladies,

    I'm still here, although I'm more lurking than posting :(

    I think, at least in where I am right now, a Grad check in would be welcome!!  It would be encouraging to see that some of us really DO get off this board and that all the tests aren't broken and some DO get BFP. 

    That's my two cents from someone who lurks more than she posts.

    Married September 2010, ttc since August 2010. So far - nothing

    After an emergency D&C on Nov 8, 2011, we are giving up hope of ever becoming pregnant.
