First IUI this morning...2ww begins!

Did our first IUI this morning (50mg of clomid days 3 thru 7) 2 follies at 23 and 25mm, day 12 ovidrel, and IUI today (day 14). I'm thinking this might be the longest 2 weeks ever!

Trying to stay optimistic. Out of curiousity...anyone ever successful on their first IUI?

Me:28 DH:32. Married Sept 2008. TTC since Sept 2009. Bloodwork & HSG April 2011: all clear. DX Sept 2011: unexplained infertility (DH w/ retrograde). 11/30/11: u/s 2 follicles at 23mm and 25mm; ovidrel trigger. 12/2/11: IUI #1. 12/15/11: BFN. 12/26/11: u/s 3 follicles at 28mm, 29mm, and 31mm; ovidrel trigger. 12/27/11: IUI #2. 1/5: BFP (result of trigger shot?) 1/6: BFN 1/7 thru 1/9: BFP!! 1/10: confirmed pregnant! 1st beta 205; progesterone 41. 1/13: 2nd beta...     You might try PAIF and/or SAIF for success stories, most of the ladies posting here are doing so because they're not PG.

    IUIs 1-3 BFN, lap Dec. 2010, IUIs 4-6 BFN
    IVF w/ICSI #1 - ER 2/8: 24R 19M 9F ET 2/13 2-5 day blasts (no frosties) = BFP - b/g twins!

    Good Luck!  Try not to go crazy in the next two weeks, it's very tough!

    I did get pg on my first IUI, but it didn't end too well.  Lots of ladies on PAIF and SAIF had first time success.

    U/S 1 @ 6w4d = 1 little frogger with HB of 118, U/S 2 @ 7w3d measuring right on track with HB of 160

    I did IUI but it did not work for us. RE convinced insurance to let me skip the 6 required ones before IVF because DH's sperm count was so low and my endo is so severe. Good luck. It works for lots of people.
