Mine started pretty early on. You may just not be noticing them. I have heard of moms never getting any (or at least never noticing them.)
A few weeks ago my doc told me I was having contractions and didn't know it. I haven't felt anything but he has me on Procardia and bed rest so I don't go into labor earlier then he wants. It's just weird that I haven't felt anything and makes me a little nervous about the real contractions.

not feeling anything might be a good thing. It might mean the labor will be easier for you? look at it positively!
I thought that I wasn't having any, but at my appt. today my doctor informed me that what I though was just the baby lumping up in my stomach were actually BH. They don't hurt at all, which is why I couldn't tell, I thought I'd at least kind of have an idea if I was having them or not.
I didn't feel them at all my first pregnancy, even when I was in labor all I knew was my back was hurting and when I was pushing, she told me to push at every contraction but I couldn't tell when I was having one! But you can start feeling them at anytime, my midwife said most people start feeling them around 32 wks or so. but you can start earlier or never at all.

Mine have started earlier and earlier and have been more and more uncomfortable with each pregnancy. WIth my first I think they started around 32 weeks or so... with this pregnancy (my 3rd) they started around 26 weeks. However, my mom swears she never felt them throughout 2 entire pregnancies. I have read that some women just don't get them.
