I bought the Rock N Play sleeper thing to use next to our bed for the baby to sleep in at night. We do not have much room in our room and the RNP fit perfectly on my side of the bed.
Is it ok for the baby to SLEEP in this at night?? I guess I am nervous because it's not a flat sleep surface.
thoughts?

Yes, its totally ok for a baby to sleep in it at night. The incline actually helps babies with reflux sleep better and the rocker feels a lot more snuggly than the big crib. Its also rated for sleep which makes it a better option than a swing or bouncer. Our preemie slept in hers for months.
One caveat-you may want to put an extra receiving blanket under the RnP cover to give a little more cushion for your baby's sensitive head. Enjoy-its one of our favorite baby items!
Our precious girl, born at 27 weeks.
My first son slept in it until 4 months, and he continued to take naps in it too. He LOVED that thing. We're definitely using it with this baby too.
And it really is safe-- it's approved as a bassinet sleeping option
