Before I was married to a dude, I mostly dated women, and I want to be able to talk to my child about this. I mean, I certainly don't want to hide my prom pictures, graduation pictures, etc until LO is old enough for "the talk" like some people I know. I am big on reading to kids and figure a book is a good way to approach it with a young kid.
I know the classic Heather Has Two Mommies but remember it being around when was a kid. Are there some favorite titles I should consider? Is there a really good new one I maybe haven't heard about or might not see in stores yet? (There is a great book store in my area but as they are kind of small, once they sell out of a title it can be a while before it reappears on their shelf.)
Thanks for any ideas!
