Good Morning!
Ahhh I am back home. It's bitter sweet because I'm so happy to be home, but sad I had to leave my sweet little girl at the hospital. Oh well she's on the road to recovery so that is all that matters.
Casey is doing so well. I called at 3 am when I got up to pump and they said she was looking around and kicking all over the place but not crying just kicking her legs. They had to sedate her a bit because she still has the vent in and they didn't want her to pull it out. But her oxygen level is down to normal and they are planning on taking the vent out today. I'm sooo excited because this means I finally get to hold my girl. I haven't held her since the moment she was born and that was for about 1 minute. Hopefully I'll also get to start feeding her soon.
Thank you all for your well wishes and good thoughts. They've worked.

Congrats Momma! Can you believe it?? How are you doing?? I remember the 1st few days being so emotional.
I cannot wait to see some pics:)
congrats!!! sounds like she's doing super!!! I can TOTALLY related about not holding, the NICU, etc. The preemie board is great!
what hospital is she at? Hoag?? how often are you going to see her?
get lots of sleep while you can!!
