Well looks like I will not make it to the Jan due date! My water broke Monday afternoon and I'm now hospitalized on bedrest. They gave the steroids to develop her lungs and are hoping to keep her in another 2 weeks. She is also breech so unless she turns we will be having a c section on Monday, December 12th.

I'm with you! My water broke on Monday night/Tuesday morning. I'll be having LO next week (unless something happens, like infection before then). He wasn't breech when they looked at the ultrasound Tuesday morning so I am hoping to skip a c-section but I know it is still a possibility even with an induction.
Good luck to you! I hope you have lots to keep you entertained at the hospital! I'm going stir crazy thinking of all the stuff I hadn't finished doing and now I can't because I'm stuck here and having to try to delegate stuff to dh, my mom and my MIL!
Best of luck! I was in your position not too long ago. My water broke at 30weeks 1 day and we delivered at 31 weeks 6 days. We were hoping to make it longer, but she did not want any part of that.
All went really well and she is very happy and healthy!
I know a few people have asked about keeping the baby in after your water breaks. They actually can keep the baby in as long as the baby does not go into fetal distress, there is no signs of infection (they take your temp every 4 hours to check for a fever - if you show signs of a fever that is a sign of infection) and you do not go into labor.
