Birthing Center or midwife recs NY?

Hi I am going to be a first time mommy in April and I would really like to give birth in a Birthing Center do you have any recommendations?Smile  I am in the Bronx area.

    I origionally had planned to give birth at the roosevelt st lukes birthing center...but ran into complications during labor and had to give birth on the l & delivery floor. The hospital was phenomenal... God forbid anything goes wrong u want to go somewhere that will take care of u asap. I plan on having baby #2 there ..when that happens!  The nurses were amazing.
