Too much amniotic fluid anyone?
Hi,
I went to specialist for an ultrasound today the the technician said that I had a lot of fluid maybe too much. My feet and my face are swollen and I've been gaining 2-3 lbs a week in the last month. She said it's not a good sign. I'm still waitin gfor the doctor to call me and discuss. I'm afraid that I have Polyhydramnios. Does anyone have this problem and what happen? Please share. I'm worried!!

I had my 21 week ultrasound and was told that I have too much amniotic fluid. Everything else was within normal limits, and my doctor wasn't too excited with my level being 27 cm vs 25 cm as the upper limits of normal. Of course, I'm freaking out, but have settled down since then. I am going to have another ultrasoud on Dec. 15 to see what the levels are. I've gained about 20-25 pounds so far, not too much different from my son's pregnancy, but I do feel a little more bloated, I guess. Try your best to just keep busy until your next check and don't read up too much on polyhydramnios. My husband told me to stop looking stuff up. I'd love to keep in touch with you on how things go.....
