Saw your post in Whiney Weds.  I ditto KCK's response to have the doctor write the oral feeding order but if it is still ignored then it is time to get a new nurse.  Is your NICU one where you can be there on rounds?  If so, I'd bring it up during the next rounds.

    Thank you! Yes, I am allowed to be there during rounds. I actually said something to the nurse when I went there yesterday afternoon so she let me feed him, but he hadn't fed all day. If it continues I will definitely say something to the doctor. I hadn't thought about having them put it in an order. Thanks!
