Real labor on it's way?

My cervix was 90% effaced and 1 1/2 cm dilated a week ago. Up until yesterday I've only had BH and no signs of labor. Around 3 yesterday all the way until I went to bed around midnight I started having time able contractions. They were cramps down low and I had horrible back pain. Today I've noticed an increase in discharge and now it's slimy and yellow (TMI?) Does this mean I am just around the corner from labor? I woke up today and the back pain and cramping has stopped.

 I have had that same thing for the last 3 weeks and no baby yet

It could and it couldn't  I have had this for the past few weeks.
