I have to admit my expectations were pretty high, but she really lived up to them. She spent so much more time with me than my OB (who is a great doctor), and even asked me how I have been feeling (which he never did). She also gave me general advice on food and exercise, and also told me about some of the things I could be expecting with my body over the next few months.
I just felt so much more at home. I could not possibly be more pleased with my decision, just in case any of you out there are on the fence!
Re: Just had first midwife appt - and so pleased!!
That is awesome!
I feel the same way. Even if this birth center VBAC birth does not go as planned it will be some consolation that I received what I feel is the best care possible throughout my pregnancy.
