So my Anna STILL won't take a bottle. From anyone. She doesn't scream bloody murder anymore though so at least we have that going for us. Well, my mother-in-law seems to think Anna is having trouble with the nipple, like it's too soft. I almost dismissed the idea but Anna does have a funny latch when I BF. I've gotten used to it now. Anyway, we are using the Playtex nurser drop in bottles, not sure the nipple is made out of but it's really soft. Any suggestions for a firmer nipple?? TIA!!
Re: Anyone know of a bottle with a firmer nipple?
To me, the cheapie Evenflo bottles had the firmest nipples. Those were the only ones my boys would take.
DD has a hard time with the silicone nipples-and we actually have been buying the Enfamil disposable nipples that we used in the hospital off of Amazon. They work great because they are a little bit firmer.
You can use them on any that are the regular width-so we use ours on the Dr. Brown's (just without the inner part) because DS can use them with the regular nipples.
We tried EVERY nipple out there it seems-and as much as we hate using the disposable ones, we just hand wash them and watch for any issues with them.
