Cranberries Check In

I survived my first PIO shot last night!  No pain during the injection (thank goodness--my trigger shot hurt like hell!) but my bottom is sore today. Hopefully the rest of them go as smoothly. 

 I got my fert report yesterday and 5 out of the 7 fertilized and we are going for a 5 day transfer on Wednesday evening!

 I've gained five pounds, my boobs hurt and every now and then I get completely hormonal and witchy (my poor husband!) but other than that, I'm feeling okay.  I still have a little cramping from my ER on Friday so I'm taking it easy.

How's everyone else?

All good for this Cranberry! Starting to feel a big headachy which I hear is normal for the stims. By stomach is so bruised at the moment and the co-ordinator just told me to do the asprin every over day. I need to give my belly a break I think and go for the thigh. The Stims shot last night hurt like hell but no bruise there, just at the lupron site.

I had to find some reading materials on the whole IVF process for DH yesterday as he is clueless. He is constantly trying to book me into events for next 2-3 weeks and I keep saying that I just don't know if I can. He does not understand the process, and clearly nor has researched any of it. Very frustrating. So I left him with a link on the 10 steps of IVF showing that we are at step 5-6 and what is to come. I think I need to quiz him on the steps over dinner tonight. Disappointing as I thought we were both 100% in this together.

That sucks. Did he not go to the seminar/training/meet with your doctor before getting into this? Time for a reality check, I would say!

Update: I triggered last night (only 5000iu HcG because my E2 was over 3500 yesterday!) and am feeling pretty achy, bloated, and uncomfortable. I barely slept last night because I am so nervous about tomorrow and this whole thing working out well. One day at a time, I guess.

Yes he did but he has been known to do the "ostrich" before (hide away when he is not the expert at something). I think it will be all fine, just annoyed that I had to remind him again on dates, appointments and process for what I can and cannot do. Partly may be me too, I always try to be strong in all situations and take charge so maybe gave him a level of comfort in this. I just so want to end this year with a BFP after 2 ectopics this year.

I'm now in the 2ww period. Bloodtest is Dec. 8. So far, so good. It's just weird, and I'm not complaining, but I rarely have any side effects from all the hormones. Makes me think my body is very "off" hormonally.

Hello all! Last night was Day 2 of stims, and I woke up today with a bad migraine, which is still with me. I'm a bit perturbed because AF came on Saturday and is still here, with very heavy flow yesterday, so now my nurse is saying we may have to back up ER from December 5th to give my lining time to thicken. Other than my huge headache, I have giant swollen boobs, and have gained weight in my abdominal area. I wanted to continue with light exercise, but all I can think about doing now is crawling in my bed with the lights out, so that's out. Not exactly sure if or when I will feel up to decorating the house for Christmas, but I want to because it lifts my spirits.

3 more shots of just lupron, and then I (hopefully) get to start stims on Friday!!!!!!  Supression check on Thursday   So ready to get this ball rolling!!!!!

Hi all! My ET will either be tomorrow or Wednesday morning. Im hoping my embryos are doing well!! They will not tell me any updates on the embryos and they won't give me a specific day so with us both being teachers, it's a real pain. They are calling tomorrow btwn 9-11 am. If it's tomorrow my husband can't go and I really want him there to see and discuss the embryos. My mom will come for support and I want someone to hear their recommendations with me. If it's Wednesday my husband will be able to call out in enough time. So that's my issue now. Otherwise feel ok, these progesterone inserts are gross and my arm still hurts from that IV. It's nice to see everyone making progress in their own way!

Update on me:  I will be triggering tonight! ER scheduled for Wednesday morning. My bloat has gone down a bit, but I heard once I have the ER it will be a lot worse. One day at a time I guess.

This is exactly why my DH was doing my injections. It was frustrating how little DH was in on my IUIs....I didn't want that to happen during IVF. He came to lots of appointments and the dr. really made sure to include him.

I am getting super nervous as well.  I triggered last night, and today is by far the worst for me in terms of bloat / cramps / achy-ness.  Between that and the nerves, my stomach just isn't feeling well.  And on top of all of that (TMI), I have also been constipated (hmm... this part doesn't come up very often on here).  My nurse said this is totally normal, but I have been eating twice the fiber and fruit I normally do and its not helping!

Good luck to those with ER tomorrow and Wednesday.  I know there are quite a few of us.

ER tomorrow morning and i'm feeling like CRAP, very very bloated, and i keep going to the bathroom because my stomach is a wreck.  I almost wish i didn't eat dinner because i seem to feel worse now that i ate.  trying to stay positive and be happy and ignore my aching belly right now.  

Cried again in the car today to "all i want for christmas" by Michael Buble' gzzzz i'm never this emotional lol i was singing at the top of my lungs and just balling my eyes out hahaha oh well you'll have that.

I've had a headache and mild nausea on and off since yesterday.  I'm only 5 days into stims and I'm already over it!

Hi ladies. My be is very good and I get really excited about seeing my little follies on the u/s screen. The RE estimates about 6 or 7 on each side. The bad news is that after 6s of stims I feel like a blow up doll and so bloated. I imagine it will get worse over the next few days. I will probably trigger on Thursday or Friday and ER over the weekend.

ER tomorrow!!!  Trigger shot wasn't bad last night. Backside just a little sore today. Getting a little nervous, but doing ok.
