IVF # 1 may be a bust

I only have 2 follicles after 9 days of stimming. I take my last 2 shots tonight and ganirelix tomorrow and go back tomorrow for ultrasound and bloodwork. 

My E2 was 405 today and lining good. Probably will be an iui. I have been on 150iu menopur and they increased my Follistim from 300 to 400 iu after 4 days is stimming. I have been a wreck all morning. IF sucks

Me:40 DH:40 AMH:.21 FSH: 10.9 2 failed IUIs on Clomid; 4 failed IUIs using Follistim; 1 cancelled IVF due to poor response; Switched REs in March 2012; Currently stimming for final IVF. Estrogen priming with microsode lupron; 6/25:8 retrieved,7 mature,5 fertilized with ICSI; 6/30: transferred 4. Beta #1 7/12:92.1 Beta #2 7/16: 528 Beta #3 7/18: 1,042 7/25/12: First ultrasound. 1 bean measuring 6 weeks 1 day Hb 116 BabyFruit Ticker

    I am sorry :( I know how bad it sucks to have your cycle cancelled. I hope your next 2 nights of stimming make another follie(s) grow.

    Married April 2010 TTC since ME 37 (DOR) DH 27 AMH 0.16 FSH fluctuation 30/6.2 SSH Clear Taking DHEA BCP 8/17/11 IVF #1 start 9/3/11 - Follistim (225),Lupron,and Lo dose HCG Converted to IUI only had 2 follies :( BFN BCP 9/28 IVF 1.2 start 10/11/11 - Follistim 450 + lo dose HCG
    Converted to IUI only had 1 follie :( BFN BCP 11/3 IVF 1.3 start 11/13/11 - Follistim (300)+Menopur+Dexamethasome - Made it to ER:) but not ET:( embies stopped growing day 3 IVF#2 new RE Estrace 12/8 adding in Provera 12/23 until 1/1 menopur,follistim,dexamethasome,ganerelix ER scheduled for 1/17wewBFFN w We are pursuing donor egg. 8/20/12 Had hysteroscopy to remove polyp but found that i have a t shaped uterus. Don't be discouraged. It's often the last key in the bunch that opens the lock.

    Me: 39 DH: 39 Dx: MFI, DOR, Poor Responder Our only option is IVF with ICSI; 1/11 IVF#1.1: Lupron flare, canceled lead follie/poor response; 3/11 IVF#1.2: EPP, canceled due to lead follicle/poor response; 10/11 IVF#1.3: Antagonist, microdose HCG, 2 embies 2dt BFN; 12/11 IVF #2: Stims started 12/17, ER: 12/27 3R, 1 mature, 1 fert, other 2 eggs matured overnight and rescue ICSI performed and both fertilized! (frozen on 12/30), On 12/29 1 2d 4-cell, grade 1 embie transferred. 1/12: Scheduled Beta, FX'd! IVF Snowflakes!

    Cycle #13 first round of Clomid + IUI (150mg) = BFN
    Cycle #14 - unmedicated = BFN
    Cycle #15 - 100mg Clomid + Trigger + IUI = BFN
    Cycle #16 - 100mg Clomid + Trigger + IUI = BFN
    Cycle #17 - Gonal-F + Trigger + IUI = BFN
    Cycle # 18 = break before IVF
    November IVF = BFN December/January IVF = currently in 2WW
    Gave birth to boy/girl twins in September 2012!!!

    I'm so sorry you are going through this. My first cycle was cancelled and it was so rough. Fingers crossed things will improve and tomorrow's u/s will bring good news!

    Three TI cycles (BFP...miscarriage), five IUI attempts and 2.5 IVF cycles later...BFP!!
    12dp5dt: 765; 15dp5dt: 1979; 17dp5dt: 3379...TWINS!!!!!
    Our perfect baby boys were born at 36w1d!!

    Hugs.   I feel your frustration.  My 2nd IVF was converted to an IUI as well.   Don't give up hope... An IUI is still better odds than nothing.   I hope you are pleasantly surprised.
    TTC #1 since October 2008. Dealing with MFI.
    IVF #1 w ICSI in July 2010 = BFN
    IVF #2.1 in Oct 2010 converted to IUI = BFN
    IVF #2.2 w ICSI in Dec 2010 = BFN
    Met with new RE in new city on 1/31/11.
    IVF #3 w ICSI in April 2011. HPT on 5/9 = BFP!
    Beta #1 on 5/10 (10dp5dt) = 99.4. Beta #2 on 5/12 = 284. First u/s on 5/26. = Fraternal TWINS!
    Twin boys born & lost on 8/16/11 at 18w1d due to PPROM & preterm labor.
    IVF #4.1 in Jan 2012 converted to IUI on 1/7/12 = BFN
    IVF #4.2 w ICSI in Feb 2012. Lupron on 2/10. Stims on 2/18. ER on 2/29- 7R,6F
    ET scheduled for 3/5/12- nothing to transfer :(
    Dh seeing new MFI uro & Dh starting meds- June 2012.
    IVF #5 in Dec 2012 = BFFN.
    IVF #6 planned for Spring 2013. Praying for our take home baby/ies.

    Im sorry, I was cancelled and I had 4 follicles and my E2 was around 500 on day 10 of stims. I had to trigger and my cycle was converted to IUI. It is so frustrating to make it this far just to cancel... GL and hang in there!
