First time "stimmer"

Well tonight was my first stim shot. Not as bad as I thought but I certaintly felt it afterwards. Not hurting, but felt a slight sting that the heat pad fixed very quickly. Finally on the road to this IVF process. Next appointment on Thursday for b/w and monitoring and looking at a Dec 7 ER. Yeah for me!

Tomorrow will be the last weekend day for me working on the house. Painting the new fence that went up. I know I will not be up for things like this in the future weekends and if I get a BFP I will be banned from these jobs anyway. DH is just realizing this now..

Good luck! Watch doing physical things after a few days, I was banned from raking leaves as your ovaries get very large and uncomfortable.

I got out of raking and bagging leaves this weekend. Wouldn't want to "torque an ovary".

Wishing you nothing but success with your cycle!! The first one is the hardest and you did great!!

Husbands are pretty clueless even when we completely spell it out for them but how we love them!

Great job getting that first shot out of the way.  The first one is hardest.  It gets easier.

Definitely be careful and don't do to much.  After the 3rd day of stims you will probably be put on restrictions.  I found that I was really crampy from just walking too much on day 2 of stims.

The first shot is the worst! DH just realized that I will not be able to do laundry after the FET and is quite sad. He was stuck with it for six weeks this summer after my surgery and hated every minute of it . Myself, I rather enjoyed it!

Congrats on your first stims! I just started mine yesterday, and ER is tentatively scheduled for 12/5. We are pretty close in IVF cycles! Good luck to you!!

I'm right there with you ladies! I start my stims tonight and have to return to the doctor on Wednesday for a follow up. We're looking at an ER somewhere between the 7th-9th and my baseline already showed follicles forming. Super excited; super stressed; super wanting this show to get on the road! Good luck to you!

I have a few last minute projects myself!  My first shot was Friday 11/25!  Today was stim day 3 - looks like we're in this together. I get those sharp prickly pains from the shots - good idea about the heating pad!
