Re: yes.. me again.. with another swollen feet question...

  • Have you been having headaches or anything else along with the swelling?  I had excessive swelling the other day, and my blood pressure was pretty elevated (not quite at the point they would consider high, but very close).  It might be worth a phone call to the on-call person tomorrow just to make sure they don't want to check you out.

I had to go to L&D for an NST and bloodwork yesterday, and have to go back in the morning to repeat and will probably need 2x weekly monitoring until LO is here, it's probably better to be overly cautious...

  • I have the same thing....swallen calves, ankles, feet tingling...My dr. said to drink more water and put them up as much as I can at this stage (36 weeks).  I also get charlie horses in my calves and my toes cramp up...One thing that helps a lot is my husband massages them a couple of times a day.  Good luck!!
  • Mine also tingle and go numb, but its usually in the middle of the night. I am going to bring it up to my Dr on Monday, ...... Keep your feet up and have hubby rub them :)

  • I second the compression socks, they feel a lot better with them! Keep them up and drink lots of water. If you have a headache then head straight to L&D. Those are the tips the dr gave me last week!
