December 2011 Moms

I give all you bedrest ladies a lot of credit!

I wasn't even limited to bedrest specifically, but told to take it easy and rest for the weekend, no shopping, running around, etc.

All I want to do is clean and take care of the to-do list I have left (get car seat inspected, finish up some christmas shopping at the plaza across the street, clean the house, cook some meals to freeze....)

It's like telling a 5 year old not to touch the cookies on the counter!

  • I agree with you!  I was told to take it easy as well and I find it WAY too hard!  I had a cold and tried to stay in bed for two days and it was torture!!!

Props to you bed rest mommas!!!

  • I was told to take it easy and apparently wasn't doing a good enough job so I was put on bedrest for FOUR days, I'm down two and working on three right now and I'm already so bored.  Not to mention my hips hurt like crazy.  You ladies who have done it for weeks on end deserve a medal!

  • I'm with you. I suck at this.

I'm having a c-section next Wednesday, but they're worried about me going into labor early, so told me to take it super easy.

Well, fine. But I needed to clean the bathroom. And do laundry. And clean out my fridge. And fold clothes. And dust.

    Um.... lol.

Now I'm on my bed and it's 4pm.  I should have been here all day, but ... maybe tomorrow I'll take it easy?
