I'm afraid of teething

Liam got FOUR teeth basically all at once (well, in the same week). The bottom two came through at the same time, and then a few days later the top two came through. He doesn't really "bite" while nursing, but he bounces with my nipple in his mouth, and it hurts :-( I hope he doesn't come up with a new, fun activity each time he gets new teeth.

Upon examination it appears to be FOUR teeth and not two.  Explains a lot.  She finally let me in there to see what is going on.

I'm terrified.  G already pinches my nipple with her gums, I can't imagine what she could do with teeth.  I know they are coming and day now...

After a week of pure misery (for her and for us), she has 2 teeth through, another 2 on the way and an ear infection.  She battled a fever of 103-104 for two days, was up every hour at night, would not go to anyone but me and good luck if I even attempted to put her down.  It was a fun time!  But, yesterday afternoon our happy and easy going baby returned - until of course the next tooth decides to come.
