Nicknames for Amelia..

So I know this is strange, but we do not have a nickname for our 3 yr old Amelia. We have always just called her Amelia. What are some nicknames we could use?

    TTC 10/11. IUI 2/12. BFP 3/8/12. 4/26/12 missed mc. RE consult 5/17/12. IVF #1 ER 7/13/12 53R, 41M ICSIed, 32F, 8 5d, 6 6d blasts - all PGD/frozen. PGD results 1 normal M and 1 normal F, 1 maybe M. FET 9/6, transferred 1 F embie. Beta 9/15 BFN. FET#2 planned for 11/2012 put off until 2013. Surprise BFP 11/21/12!! My son was born on 7/24/13!

    FET 4/28/2015 - Transferred 1 M embie. 5/6/15 BFP!

    I have a neice named amelia, and she doesn't have a nickname either.  I have tried calling her shortened versions of her name, but it just doesn't sound right.

    Mel, Meli (Me-lee or Mel-ee), El (L). Family member gave birth last week, named DD two Amelia and the family is at a loss, too. I congratulated them and asked what they planned to nickname her and they said "We don't want a nickname." DD one is pronounced "Keel-ee" and they also didn't want a nickname for her at the time. DD one is now nicknamed "Kiki", not sure why. :)

    In William Makepeace Thackery's Vanity Fair written in the early 19th century, there is a character named Amelia. The entire book she is referred to as Emmy.

    If we use Amelia, we have thought of these nicknames: Mia, Mila, Melia, or Mimi.

    My SIL's name is Amelia and her NN is Millie. DD will also call her Aunty Millie.
    TTC #1 April 2009 Dx with PCOS September 2009 TI w Clomid x3 = BFNs IUI w Clomid = BFN TI w Clomid = BFP! August 2010 We are blessed. TTC #2 TTC on our own August & September 2012 = BFN x 2 (so I thought) Appt w RE Oct 2012 and got a BFP that day! Thank you, Lord. Nov 23 7 week u/s - so far so good.     My Amelia is 5 (almost 6), and we had every intention of using Mia as a nickname, but it never really stuck... we've had some variations (Mimi, Melia), but mostly, she's just ended up being called Amelia. I figure I'll let her pick a nickname if and when she decides she wants one (she currently plans on using "Milly" when she gets to middle school... girl's a planner, I guess!)
