Anyone have bedding from PBK?

I've been looking at the nursery bedding and I wondered what your experience was like ordering from them and if you like it?  Is it nice quality bedding?  I like that I can pick the pieces I want instead of buying a whole set but I wanted to get opinions before I made a decision.

Oh, the 3 I like so far are Kayla, Emily, and Penelope.

Re: Anyone have bedding from PBK?

  • Yes. I didn't order the complete set but I ordered a quilt and a bumper and I love them both.  They are both really nice and quality made.  I've washed them both already and they are in the crib. They fit.. they washed well.. I like them a lot.  I ordered a mobile too a while ago from PBK and I love that also.   I ended up getting them on sale so I only paid $90 for both of them! That was just a bonus!   I really liked PBK because they had lots of selections that weren't themed.  I didn't really want to do animals or sports or any particular theme. I just wanted basic colors that I liked and was able to buy different pieces that matched.

  • I do! I originally bought a bumper, crib skirt, quilt and sheets. All we use now are the sheets and the crib skirt! I buy new sheets all the time from this just to change things up :) I think their quality is great.

Also, I have always been happy with their customer service. We did not find out what we were having, so a month before my due date, I went and purchased a girl set and a boy set. When we had Connor, my mom washed and set-up the boy set and we took back the girl set.....we got a full refund and it was a very easy return!

  • We love our PBK set. I have some sheets, bumper, quilt, valances, and bed skirt. They are all great quility and ordering was really easy.

  • I get all my bedding from PB (Kids and regular).  It's such great quality and I always think they have the cutest prints (I used to work there for a little bit... miss my discount!).  Another note is that when you're done, and if it doesn't have any stains, it sells really well on Ebay.

If I find out I'm having a boy and girl I'm definitely going for the monkey print for each.  Too cute!

ps- their shipping fees are really a lot.  Do you have on near you?  It's way more reasonable to pick it up.

  • ps- Love the Penelope print.  I love birds, they are all cute though

  • I have the Penelope print and it is adorable. I got the sheets, bedskirt (just a regular pink one that was on sale at PBK at the time) and bumper, and a stroller blanket with the birds on it too. We took out the bumper when she started rolling over (at the pedi's suggestion). I also found some really cute small pictures on eBay that were "inspired" by the Penelope line. They were three little birds, one on each card, and I put them in a three picture frame and it looks great, and it was super-cheap. Be sure to check out eBay and you might find some cute stuff that isn't PBK but made to go with the bedding you choose.
  • Thanks girls! I do have a PBK near me but when I was in there the other day they didn't have any of the bedding. Can you order it in the store?

  • Simmy - I didn't know you were such a Martha Stewart!  I'll go check out e-bay and see if I can find any of the bedding there.  Which rug do you like?

  • Loooove ours!

I'm too cheap to buy it retail.  I found it on ebay.

Then....  I went ahead and bought the same print in twin size for when he was ready for his "big boy bed".

Our IF journey: 1 m/c, 1 IVF with only 3 eggs retrieved yielding Dylan and a lost twin, 1 shocker unmedicated BFP resulting in Jace, 3 more unmedicated pregnancies ending in more losses.
Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.
  • My older kids' bedding is all from PBK. It's nice quality and does sell well on CL or eBay when you're done with it, which is nice for trading to something new later on! But, like a pp mentioned, it can look very different in reality than online. I liked a few crib sets when I was pg, but saw them in store and they were totally different in person. I ended up going with a different brand for their crib sets, although most of their accessories came from there. So, if you can get to a store, I'd recommend it.
  • I have a a quilt and a diaper bag that I have ordered from them. ?The quality is really good and the quilt is super soft. ?Their service was amazing as well.
