Babies: 3 - 6 Months

Just curious, but...

Ok, this may seem silly...(I've been meaning to post this forever!).  Is it just me, or almost every time you nurse, you get a slight nauseous/lightheaded feeling (very slight) until after the baby is latched on for a minute or so?  Does anyone know what that is?  Why that is?  I just thought that was weird, a strange sensation, I can't make sense of it.

  • This happens to me too. It's caused by the hormones that are released while your breastfeeding. It's worse for me on days where I haven't drank enough water though.

  • WOW!  I had no clue that's what it was.  I noticed this a while ago.  No one has ever shared this 'phenomenon' -- if you will, with me.  Thought something was wrong with me for a while.  LOL!

  • LOL when this started happening to me I was so scared and took a pregnancy test!  I thought "no, not already!!!"  I don't know if you're on the mini-pill, but that causes nausea too.
