So I have my stash of BG 4.0 ready to go, but now my question is what to do for the NB stage? I've read a lot of good things about kissaluvs, but they are really hard to find for a reasonable price used (or sell out super fast), and I can't justify the cost of new. So now it's down to easy/convenient/low cost CD choice, or 'sposies for the first little bit. We're expecting a larger baby (8+ lbs) based on family history, so it won't be long before they're 10 pounds. TIA!

We have Lil Joeys and BG XS for newborn, then BG smalls to get us through until the OS fit. Usually BG has good seconds deals on the smalls and XS. Prefolds are probably the cheapest option though.

Were you going to get the Kluv fitteds or AIOs? I had both and really disliked the NB AIO. The fitteds were fine, but I liked GMD workhorse fitteds much better. They were a better price too. Kawaii pure and naturals are a good pocket diaper for your NB stash and wallet. They are trim and cheap!

  I was looking primarily at the fitteds. Do the GMD have the cord snap down?

No but the NB size (orange edge) was small enough not to bother the cord.

The newborn GMD workhorse fitteds with snaps are on sale for $4.95 each right now. I ordered 12 of those and 12 prefolds to round out my nb stash (already have 9 KLOs and 3 BG xs).

I was going to say the same thing. I'd like some reviews on the GMD fitteds. $4.95 seems like such a deal!
