Legos at the Library - fun free SJ activity

Not sure if this interests anyone on the board, but thought I'd share anyway as we went yesterday and my boys LOVED it.  West Valley Library in San Jose has "Legos at the Library" every Friday from 4 PM to 5 PM (except on holiday weeks).  In the community room, they bring out ~8 large boxes of Legos and other toys for free play.  There had small Legos, mini figures, Duplos, Megablocks, and these connect things with sticks and round pieces so they really had something to appeal to all ages.  Boxes were put in a circle around the large open room and the kids went to town.  I'd say there were maybe 25 kids there and everyone played nicely, and surprisingly, they all cleaned up very quickly at 4:55.  Wish they had something like this at my local library!  I talked to the lady in charge and she said they were all donated by families whose children had outgrown the toys.

If you are in the area and have a Lego lover, stop by on a Friday afternoon!
