magic sleep suit believer!

got my suit wednesday, i was so excited but skeptical, didnt even wash it before wear because i thought for sure we were going to return it.  LO has been swaddled since day one..from the miracle blanket, to the swaddle strap, and now i felt it was time to unswaddle.  night 1 he slept 5.5 hours straight which was no different from being swaddled...i thought this thing is lame.  night 2, slept 8 hours, whoa!  and last night............10 hours!!!!  he LOVES this suit!  obviously so does momma.....just thought id share my MAGIC suit success!

  • I have been thinking about getting one, I think I'll just do it.  My LO is starting to get too big for her swaddle me's and I don't want to just put her in a sleep sack yet.

  • My LO (who has relied on a swaddle since day 1) does well with it too. I can't help but giggle when she's in it though...she looks like that little boy from "A Chrismas Story" who fell down in his snowsuit and couldn't get back up. ;)

  • I've been wondering if I should get one... DD hates being swaddled because she likes to put her hands up to her face every so often.  But on the rare occassions I can get her swaddled without her waking up and throwing a screaming fit for hours she sleeps the best.

Does the Magic Sleep Suit inhibit them from moving their hands to their face? If she could still put her hands up by her face every once in a while it might be just what I need...

Yes it does prevent them from putting their hands to their face

  • My DS can still put his hands to his face with the sleep suit.  It's difficult, but he can do it.  I suppose it depends how long their arms are.

We are also MSS believers.  Stick out tongue

  • I'm so jealous!  We used ours for the first night last night and LO slept like crap!  I was thinking about stopping it and going back to swaddling (I just posted about it before seeing your post) but now, I think maybe I'll give it another try?
