car accident, L&D, low amnio fluid!(long)

This morning I hit a patch of ice going downhill on my way to work and hit a telephone pole. Not sure how fast I was going, i think only 30 but  I totaled my car and was so worried about the baby because of the seatbelt tightening and how hard i hit.  Luckily my airbags didn't go off. It was really scary. 3 police, 2 firetrucks and an ambulance arrived. I went by ambulance to the ER and I was fine but they wanted to monitor the baby. His heart rate was good but I was having contractions every 2 minutes although I was not feling them so they said they were probably just braxton hicks. I also had a U/S and the dr said he was concerned bc the amniotic fluid was low. He contacted my OB who wanted to see me at her hospital. I had another US done and she said it was low but not as bad as the other dr at the other hospital said.  had it been as low as he thought they would have had to induce. 'i'm home now after 12 hours at the hospital.  I am starting to feel whiplash. 'i've also been feeling contractions but am not too concerned since they are not painful. i have another US tuesday to check fluid levels again. I have a feeling this baby is going to be here sooner than later.   Wear your seatbelts ladies!!
