CRAP-gave DS expired gas drops from 2010!!!!

I told DH to go get the gas drops for DS and as I was giving it to him I thought the syringe thing looked different.  I then realized DH got the wrong bottle.  I guess we had left over gas drops from when DS #1 was a baby and it somehow was next to the new bottle.  It expired 8/2010.  Please tell me not to worry.  I am also concerned bacteria was built up in there...ugh!!!
Severe MFI resulting in IVF/ICSI #1 in Nov 2007. BFP!!
Our beautiful son was born July 2008.
2010: 2 IVF's,1 FET = 2 BFN's, 1 c/p :(
Feb 2011-Unmedicated FET= BFP!! DS #2 born Oct 2011!!.

    Expiration dates on drugs are mostly for effectiveness. It just means they weren't tested that long to see if they are still effective. LO will be fine.

    Sounds like something I would do. Worst that could happen is they would not be as effective (or not at all). FYI - if the formula is anhydrous (no water/aqua listed as an ingredient), no bacteria can build up because bacteria need water in their environment to survive.
