I can't believe how fast this past week has gone!

Today has been by far the best day for me in my recovery.  My stitches hardly hurt at all, and the swelling from all of the fluid they gave me is finally starting to subside.

I tried to put on my pre-pregnancy jeans today...just wanted to see how much I have to work when they let me start exercising again. Not bad, but not good either!

Breastfeeding is still not going that great, but I'm producing more milk now when I pump, and I started pumping every 3 hours instead of every 2.  I'm now pumping more milk in a session than what he eats (but I know his intake will increase soon). 

We're getting pictures taken next Wednesday and I can't wait! We're using it for our Christmas card/announcements (doing them all in one).

He has the sweetest baby cheeks!!! I'm glad you're both doing well, everything takes a little bit of time to get back to normal, but you're off to a great start. Enjoy your photo session on Wend!!!

He is so chubby, so cute! Congrats! From the u/s I think my baby girl will have chubby cheeks too. Can't wait to meet her!

Good to hear you are starting to feel well. and like PP, everything takes time. I know while reading from my books on the sections of BF, it can take a couple weeks atleast just to get in the swing of things. It definitely sounds like your on the right track though. Your little Colton is so handsome! Melts anyone's heart.
