  • I accidently bought a pair of dress flats in a larger size before I was PG. I hate making returns so I just kept them. These have been a lifesaver and I wear them every day including the weekends.

I just really hope my feet go back down to my normal size or I have a lot of shoes to donate.

  • I've been wearing Merrell Jungle Mocs. They're not very attractive, but are wide enough to accommodate the swelling and have great arch and heel support. My ankles still swell, but at least they are comfortable to have on all day.

  • I wear dress flats to work and slip-on tennis shoes with warm socks now that it's getting colder. I won't even attempt tie shoes or boots unless it starts to seriously snow and then DH can put them on for me lol. My feet are swollen at the end of the day but I just prop them up and it usually helps.

  • Today - Ugg boots because Thursday/Friday we can wear jeans at work :)

Monday - Wednesday - I've been wearing flats.  I haven't thought about wearing heels in months.

On the weekends, I'll either wear Uggs or my slip on athletic shoes.  I have tried tie shoes and I can't bend over comfortably anymore to tie them!!

  • Luckily I haven't had swelling this time so I'm still rocking the heels at work- flats are home and weekends.

  • Feels good to hear that someone around my week is waddling too! I feel like it's way too early considering there is no "head in lap" feeling yet, only swelling down there and back ache. I am wearing tennies! So sexy! I have a pair that was always a little big and of course they're my shoe of choice. Also my expensive maternity jeans that I bought in a size 30 are getting too small to pull up. So lots of sweats. Luckily I wear scrubs and tennis shoes for work. Kudos to all of you having to coordinate work outfits right now!!!

  • I'm wearing my sperry boat shoes every day now at work.  They are old, so they have stretched out enough and I can loosen the laces.  This is the first week my feet have remained swollen every day.
  • DH drug me on a factory tour of farm equipment over a year ago. We were 4 states from home in the middle of the summer when he decided to tell me I couldn't wear sandals to the dumb place! I rushed out and bought the cheapest tennis shoes I could deal with...they are wide width nikes. I'm starting to feel like a P.E. teacher because that's all I've been wearing since it's gotten colder (before it was nothing but flip flops). Occassionally I'll try and make it out of the house in something different...nothing else is comfortable!

If it would get colder I'd break out my Ugg like boots (which are also roomy). But it's just not that cold yet and I'm always hot:S.

  • Been living in my Uggs. They are so much easier to put on than sneakers right now. Especially since I'm home with the LOs with no one to tie my shoes, LOL!

  • I just got some new Nine West Heels from DSW that I've pretty much worn every day to work.  They are very comfy and I'm much more comfy in high heels than flats.  I frown on low-mid sized heels.

I'm finding it odd that many people are loving their Uggs right now. I tried wearing both my Ugg boots and Ugg slippers and I had to stop because I was getting so much pain in my heels. Once I switched to the slip-on Merrells I was fine.

  • I have flat feet, so for me, it's only comfortable to wear heels.  I still wear my 2 inch heeled boots outside and 1.5 inch heel slip-on shoes inside.  I mostly wear my knee high boots this time of year (lots of rain in Seattle right now), but on a sunnier day will wear my ankle booties.

I only wear sneakers when working out on the elliptical.  If I wear them longer than an hour (even pre-pregnancy) the lack of an arch would hurt too much.  Yes, I've tried inserts -- even Rx ones -- and nothing works as effectively as just a two-inch heel.

I have naturally wide feet, so I always make sure my shoes are either fully adjustable in width (lace-up) and/or genuine leather to help naturally stretch and give.

(I haven't had any swelling, so I assume the same guidelines would help?)

  • Living in my sweater Uggs and my converse have also been pretty comfortable.
  • If it's warm enough for me to skip socks, I'm wearing a pair of wide-width flats. If socks are in order, I'm wearing black Dansko clogs or a pair of boots with a lower heel. The Danskos are my faves though.

  • I wear WalMart or Payless dress flats or slip on loafer type shoes.  Since it is getting colder and expect snow, I will start wearing my Uggs and other flat boots I have.  I don't fit into my heels anymore due to swelling and they hurt my arches too bad if I wear them longer than an hour.

  • I've been living in my Disney Crocs :-)

I started swelling about a week ago and now nothing else will do.  When I stand up now, my feet hurt just to walk on them, so Crocs are heaven!
