    DH's family always opens youngest to oldest.  So all the gifts are sorted and gift opening starts with the littlest one.  DD3 is still the littlest in the extended family!

    The boys take turns opening their gifts.  They pick their own from under the tree.  DH and I usually wait to open ours until they're done, since we're taking pics.
    Stay at home mom to a house of boys: two amazing stepsons, 12 and 9, and our 4 year old.

    Last year we put all of one kid's presents under once side and the others on the other side so they were separated. It worked really well cause we hand a present to each kid, one at a time. They then get to open that one and have to wait for the other one to be done before the next present gets handed out.
