Just asked this same question on my April Moms fb group this morning...I've gotten a lot of Britax (Boulevard or Marathon) and Radian responses. Off to research those...
We have the Graco Myride 65 for our SUV and the Britax Marthon for our small 4 door car because those seats allowed for center, RF placement and fit our cars the best. www.thecarseatlady.com was a great resource, I messaged her FB page and she recc'ed those seats specifically for our cars. Albeebaby typically has good deals on car seats, that's where we got both for 20% off and free shipping, and the britax was already on sale, so we got it for about $115
We have two Recaro Prorides that we got for $230 each. They are tall seats so they can take up a lot of room. My husband researched them and decided on these because Recaro makes racing seats and they have side impact protection. I like that they feel very sturdy and safe.
I just emailed thecareseatlady and she said that I should wait to purchase anything since a lot of new car seats will be coming out in the next few months.
We just got the Evenflo Symphony e3 which we like so far... we tried another one (and I'm totally blanking on which one it was) but it did not fit our backseat well... so even if you find one on paper you like, make sure it fits!
I'm a huge Britax fan. Aiden is still riding in his Britax Marathon that we switched him to when he was 7 months old, and he'll ride in that seat until it expires. Claire's getting two after Christmas, as she's 2 inches away from outgrowing her infant carrier.
If you're looking for discounts, check out Albeebaby.com. I've ordered all my seats from there, and they are never older than a few months (you don't want a seat that's been sitting around too long, as they expire five years from their manufacture date).

How long til expiration depends on the manufacturer. Most are 6 or 7 years, some are even longer.
