Let's Talk Poop...

I've noticed we haven't had a poop post in a good long while, so here's one.

Over the past couple of days I've been having a ton of BMs. I think there were at least five yesterday and two so far today. Not loose or anything - generally pretty normal. I don't know what to make of it, really. I've heard of loose stools being a sign of impending labor, but not frequent regular ones. 

Thoughts? Anyone else experiencing anything weird?

I have been having frequent ones as well! Around 3 a day or so. May have just been the coffee though

Definitely not dealing with the pregnancy constipation anymore.

I can say that I have been pretty regular myself lol!

It is a nice change considering it was the oppisite a few weeks ago. Don't know what it means but I'm not complaining about it yet.

I was having quite a few more than normal over the weekend, to the point where I started googling how long before labor your body "cleans itself out."  Of course, I have had nothing since Sunday, so it was probably just something I ate over the weekend....I'd like a little something though, I'm feeling a little extra cramped in there...

Yes, I even commented to DH yesterday how I don't feel constipated anymore.  I feel like I'm getting back to pre-pregnancy "regular".  (DH didn't understand how wonderful this news really is).  I have also been trying to drink more water during the past week, so I figure that had something to do with it, too.

I've been having several per day but they are still just as hard and constipated as before. It really sucks.

I've been having the same "issue" 4-6 times a day. Honestly I'm thrilled though...Things were getting too difficult the last few months and I don't feel as sick/gassy now. Starting to have contractions again so hopefully this is a sign of things to come.

I'm more regular than I was earlier in the pregnancy (once a day! Woo hoo!) but they're still hard and I still have TERRIBLE hemorrhoids.... I've been putting off starting my iron supplements because I'm scared to do anything that could make the hemmies worse before labor.

Same here! The last week or so I have been going way more then the past 9 months. Sometimes 2-3 times a day which is amazing compared to once every few days! I wonder if this is a sign or labor in the near-near future.

I'm definitely having more/softer BMs than I have been which is great.  7+ months of constipation was quite enough for me.

Same here! It's been nice to pop so many times a day, but with LO being down its harder to go because it seems he is pushing on those parts.

No change here - still pretty constipated. I'm hoping I'll join the several times a day camp soon!

For the last two weeks probably I've started to poop way more frequently, like 4x/day sometimes! It's a bit ridiculous! Occasionally they're loose but mostly just normal.
