On a scale of 1-10. I'm already hunting for dresses for the firefighter's ball. I had so much fun dressing up last year that I can't wait for this year's. This dress is currently on ebay for $21. I doubt I'll buy it unless it stays that cheap--but I'm trying to get an idea of a style. I'm 5'7" and pretty thin. Any weight that I have is in my butt, so that wouldn't really be a factor with this style. Gracias!

I dont think our dept has a ball, but I wish they did. It would be great to get to dress up like that again.
Do you have an auxiliary? If you do, you should join and plant the seed for a ball. It is so much fun! It's like a grown-up prom! We pay $25 to go and have it at the Holiday Inn. Last year it was near Valentine's Day, so my mom paid for a room for us to stay overnight and kept NB. This year, it's closer to St. Patrick's Day, so I was thinking about getting a green dress (possibly hokey), but then I saw this one and am in love. Obviously, I still have time.
I dont know if we have an auxiliary or not. I have never heard about one, but DH may just not have ever mentioned it to me. I am very jealous though. I loved prom so a grown-up prom with DH would be great.
I am going to ask him about it and if we dont have one we are going to travel to yours, haha.
