Survived the trip home

Well I made it through the five hour cross-country plane ride and a week back at home.

The flight out actually wasn't too bad.  I had an aisle seat and DH made sure I had everything I needed to be comfortable and the stewardesses were great about coming by to check on me.  The flight back was less happy.  I was supposed to have an aisle seat, but somehow that got messed up and DH wasn't able to sit next to me either.  The people next to me wouldn't switch with us and no one seemed to really give a crap that I am 8 months pregnant.  Whatever.  I could have asked the steward to find me an aisle seat, but I thought making the lady next to me get up every half hour so I could use the bathroom was more fun since she just had to sit there.  But all in all it wasn't nearly as uncomfortable as I had imagined it would be.

Anyway, glad I decided to go ahead with the trip.  It was worth it to see our family and friends while we had the chance.  We even had to buy an extra suitcase to bring back all the baby presents everyone gave us.

Now time to catch up on the bump and get ready for baby's arrival.  Congrats to all the moms who've already had their LOs!
