MiraLAX, who uses it?

I swear I saw this was a safe medication and recommended by my Dr..  But of course now that I went out and purchased I can't find that sheet of paper and it says online it's a category C med.  I am going to call the nurses line too but it always takes a bit to get back with me, so are any of you ladies using it?

<hanging head in the dreaded C-word shame>...  Yes, it is part of the "GI cocktail" I was prescribed when I spent 2.5 days in the hospital because of a "kink in the line"...  I had to take it 2x/day mixed with OJ (packets were SO worth the price difference!), along with Colace and Senecot 2x/day... 

I can safely say, being backed up may be miserable, but if you mess something up with your GI track you're going to really be in a world of hurt on a lot of levels!  Also, I never thought in a MILLION years I'd be one to willingly take something but I had to start back up with it and it's like my belly completely deflated and I dropped a boatload of weight just from how backed up the GI track has been getting this PG...

I have for a bit. DD1 has been on it daily since 11 months, so I wasn't concerned about taking some for myself when it was needed.

Definately made a HUGE difference for my and it was also recommended by my pediatrician for my son a few months back who was only 4 at the time..so it must be fairly safe:)  Also i had a good friend who had a preemie and around 10-11 months they ended up putting some in bottles upon recommendation from the pediatrician and worked wonders...I don't think they would recommend it for that young if there were any danger involved in it:)

Thanks ladies, I had it recommended by so many people I was surprised to read that but am glad it seems just fine!!
