barely! We went to Disney over the weekend to celebrate niece's and nephew's birthdays (as well as the boys'). I think I just had too high of expecations and was a bit disappointed. The boys didn't really react too much at what was going on around them, except for balloons!
We stayed at a Disney hotel, and used their transporation to get to the parks. I thought it was going to be a mission w/ the double stroller to use the buses, but wasn't that bad. I'd def use them again.
Note to self, never go on a holiday weekend! It was super packed, especially Epcot bc of the Food & Wine Festival (last wk).
Re: Survived first Disney trip...
Glad you survived! It was also extra packed because all the NJ kids didn't have school last week.
We are planning another trip for 2012!
4 Fresh IVF cycles + 1 FET where embies didn't survive the thaw = 2 perfect little men!
sFET 11/9/11 - Beta 11/18 BFP!

I'm jealous! Hope that you had some fun!
We're planning our first trip with the girls in 2012 too! I'm just nervous about a two hour flight with two 16 mo olds...

When in 2012? We went when the boys were 14 months and the flight was definitely the hardest part. We had our ILs on the way back and that made things so much easier.

We're going in October (not quite sure of the exact dates yet, I'm just keeping my eyes peeled for "special offers"). We've never been for the food and wine festival, and want to check it out! I'm hoping that they'll just sleep on the flight. We'll see...definitely nervous :

We'll be going again the last week of Sept. IMO, Sept/Oct is a great time to go. Not crowded at all andt he food and wine festiveal is great.
BTW, I love how you are pre-nervous, 10 months ahead of time.

How fun!
We are waiting for our first Disneyland trip when the boys are almost 2.
Happy Birthday to your kiddos!
LMAO! That's me!
We've gone twice in September (for our honeymoon and 4th anniversary). I love it then. The crowds are low and the weather is good for the most part. Just have to dodge the daily florida storm

If possible, the Mickey's not so scary halloween event is great! The parade is very nice and all characters are dressed up. Also, the kids (and parents too) dress up for the "party" and there are trick-o-treat stands around for the kids to get candy. The weather is great, and since it is a special event with limited access, the crowds are a lot smaller (meaning less lines). And you can get into the parks with the pass as early as 4pm, giving u a lot of time to enjoy the different parts.

Yeah, we're definitely going to have to check out the not-so-scary Halloween party. I think that one will probably be a big hit with them.
