When does it start to matter that a baby is breech? Is there a point where one should start attempting to get the baby to flip?
G seemed to be head down from early on, or at least whenever I had an appt. This one was breech at the a/s and my most recent appointment, but I know that he still has a good amount of time to move around. I am mainly curious. However, there is a piece me wanting to know when it is optimal to start baby spinning, acupuncture or other things in order to prevent a c-section. Yes, I know this might sound crazy.

I would start trying a little before 34 weeks. One acupuncturist told me that he likes to see women between 33 and 35 weeks for breech babies.
I didn't start trying to turn our baby until the 35 week mark, and I wish I would have started sooner. I did Moxi/acupuncture, and got a moxi stick for home so we could use it on days I didn't do acupuncture. I tried different positions, spinning babies, even stuck an ipod in my pants since my husband read somewhere that the baby might turn to music. I felt insane, but wanted to try it all. At 36 weeks we did the external version. (If you have to do a version, give yourself permission to stop after two attempts. I tried five times, and in retrospect, if she was going to move, I think she would have done it by the third attempt. Later I was told by our midwife that two-three attempts is the norm)
I'm sure your baby will happily flip soon, unlike our stubborn little girl.
Thanks for the feedback.
I know that I do want to be proactive if he does end up being breech later on. Since I am just 24 weeks, I also know that I have awhile before we'll have any real clue. He definitely still has plenty room to do somersaults currently.
