We have a hanging mesh toy organizer (looks like a tube) that hangs from the ceiling. We put his stuffed animals in it. I take it down every once in a while to dust them.

You could get one of those nets that hangs on the wall? I hate stuffed animals and made sure everyone knew that before my shower!
This.
I don't mind a few cute stuffed animals, but I didn't want a bunch until DD is old enough to pick them out and enjoy them on her own. That Pinterest idea is pretty effin' awesome.

I saw this on Pinterest. I wish I knew someone to make me one for my GS. It's a zoo for stuffed animals.
Just told my hubby he needed to make one of those as all of our stuffies (and with a 3 year old we have more than enough) are still in the moving box in the closet as space is at a premium here too!

Most of ours are still packed up. DD can't really play with them, so they're sealed in plastic bags in a storage bin. I figure I can bring them out one at a time as rewards, etc. Right now, she just has her lovey.
hammer a few nails about a foot down from the ceiling along one wall. string the stronger fishing line across the nails, wrapping it around each one and tying it off--like a clothes line. buy clothes pins. pin each of the large stuffed animals by the ear, arm or tail to the fishing line across the edge of the ceiling. makes a cute room decoration, gets the stuffies up off the floor, and as the kid gets older they can ask you to pull down the ones they want to sleep with and you can hang up the other ones they are tired of.
also shoe pockets on the back of the kid's door or closet door can hold all sorts of little things, including small stuffed animals.
I hate them too. I may just store them away in a bin and then when she's old enough, we can give them to her as presents, haha! That sounds terrible, but I think I might just do that.

Burn them.
In reality, most of my kid's are stuffed into a hamper in his closet. He has a few that he's attached to, which live on his bed.
Dd only has one so far.
cute idea!
