1st IUI done today!!!

So we had scheduled to get our "collection" at home... turns out the girl didn't actually put the condom in the little paper bag.... OH NO...

So we get to the clinic 20mins before the collection was supposed to be dropped off.. they give us a private room and with the odd feeling out of our comfort zone, we collected.  Left for coffee to return later for the IUI... 

IUI procedure I was told to be done by a nurse.. ended up being the IVF doctor - that was nice to know and more re assuring. 

The count of DH's little swimmers was up 5x last week from previous sample to 15mill, going off that the RE was fine to do the IUI.. today.... 83million!!!!!  Can you belive it.. she said this was outstanding.  Everything went extremly well however she did say with such high numbers and 3 mature follicles at trigger, twins is most definatly expected in her opinion!!!  I DON'T CARE at this point, we've been waiting so long, if we get at least one success out of this that would be totally fine, to get two, I think the more I think about it, I would be extatic!  Today is a GOOD day!!     The cycle of my BFP I had 3-4 mature follicles and now I have one beautiful baby!  In the past I have done IUI with more than that and ended up with a BFN.  You just never know what will happen.

    Good luck! 

    Dx: PCOS/Amenorrhea/Anovulatory/lining problems. Clomid = BFN's. Lots of cancelled cycles due to thin lining or cysts. IUI#1= Follistim, estrace and endometrin = BFN IUI#2= Repronex, follistim, viagra suppositories and endometrin= BFN. IUI#3= Repronex, follistim, viagra suppositories, femtrace and endometrin= BFP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Isabella born in June via C-section!!!!! She is so incredible! Went back to RE to TTC#2 and got a WONDERFUL surprise!! Baby #2 on their way!! My Beautiful son Liam born Feb, 2011!! Lilypie image Lilypie First Birthday tickers

    It sounds like things went great!  I'm so glad.  We had 36 million at our first IUI this cycle and 33 million the 2nd day....we have twins!
