Baby girl is head down! YAY!!!

Had an U/S today because doctors thought she may be breech or transverse.  Today's U/S revealed right away that she is head down.  SO pleased (although the idea of knowing her delivery date was pretty appealing, without the surgery part).

I had dilated to 1.5 cm and 75% effaced - just last Friday, I was only a fingertip and 25-50% effaced, so that's pretty good progress, I think. 

All body parts and functions look great! She was confirmed as a GIRL and we could see HAIR on her head!!! :O  Doctor said she has a "chunky" little belly :-)  and is estimated as of today at 7lbs. 13-15oz.  in the 80th percentile.  Hoping she comes sooner rather than later so I can stay in the 8lb. range (I HOPE!)

Congratulations on a head down baby! I know that it was a huge relief for me when Liliana finally flipped head down.  I hope you have a smooth and safe delivery.
