Help with Progesterone please

My last cycle ended in a c/p (p4 was a 4 I believe on my 1st beta day)

 I since requested to have supplements for this current cycle to take after I ovulate (they didnt really want to, but I think they gave in) So I will be taking prometrium after I ovulate..When do most people start the supplements? 2 or 3 days past IUI?

 Here is the question. My office says since I will be taking supplements, then I don't need to do a 7dpo blood test to see how my levels are (they normally dont do this test at all regardless of if you are taking supplements or not) but I know so many offices do. Would you fight to have the 7dpo blood test done as well so they can increase the dosage if needed? 

What level is good at 7dpo?

First of all, your office should give you instructions. What my clinic has me do may differ and they should be explicit in their instructions.

Second, supplements are local not systemic and their levels will not show up in blood work. If you prefer to do a P4 you should do PIO injections. GL!

Really? I figured that the p4 would show up using supplements as well.
