I'm about to start my part-time job on Tuesday and I can't wait to spend more time with my 6-month-old daughter. The one thing I really want to do is Mom and Baby swim lessons. We are not Y members - any other suggestions where we may be able to find classes? We live in Oakley if that helps.

Re: Baby Swim Lessons
Small world. My OB is that building as well. Did you go to Seven Hills? Love them :0)
You do not have to be a member at the Y to take the swim lessons there. I took them with my son when he was 10 months old at the Clermont Y. It was very reasonable ($30 for 4 weeks). I looked into the Mercy HealthPlex but it was quite a bit more (I think it was around $90 for 6 weeks?) We are planning on doing another session in the winter since he loves the water.
Yes, I started out with the midwives but ended up with a c-section with the OBs at Seven Hills. I had a good experience with them, even if I didn't want the c-section.
I just called the Y this morning because I have a free week of membership and I wanted to try the class. They just said I couldn't go to the class with the pass. I wish they would have told me more about the class and the information that I didn't have to be a member to attend. Oh well...I'll call again.
Thanks to everyone who responded!
You can still go to the Y and I think it is cheaper than most places. We took a swim class at Kids First, but only because we had a Groupon. I thought it was like $75 or so at Y if you weren't a member.
