Molly doesn't have teeth yet but she's definitely eager for finger foods. We've tried "puffs" but I think they're initially too hard for her (she spits them out.)
I'm thinking of really really well cooked:
little pasta
potato/sweet potato
egg/egg yolk (?)
ripe banana in small chunks (not cooked)
Any other ideas?
Re: What does your (toothless) baby eat?
annie just got her first tooth and is 11 mo and is basically on table food. i give her at least one puree/applesauce at every meal as well, but she eats what we eat (with the exception of acidic foods, she has a sensitive belly/bottom)
try eggs, edamame, peas, banana, slices of string cheese, tiny pieces of hotdog or turkey, etc
I love feeding E solid food--it is so fun!
