I see that you did end up getting your DS bunk beds. Has he tried to jump off the top yet? DD wants bunk beds and while I want to get them for her I have visions of baby brother climbing up and propelling himself off.

I've been totally shocked - he doesn't even crawl up there!!  So weird, as he usually tends to be a total monkey, but he likes the cozy bottom bunk and doesn't mess with the top one.  The ladder is removable, so I figure if he does start climbing up there, we could always remove that for awhile.
