What do you think of this crib? It's the only one I remotely like so far, BUT it doesn't convert to a toddler bed. I don't care about it converting to a real bed, but the toddler bed would be nice. What do you think?
I personally wouldn't get it because DH and I only want one child and I want their bedroom set to grow with them... meaning the bed being a convertible even if it only goes to a twin it will get them to middle school It's really nice it that's what you want it to do is just be a crib.
Exactly what HEE said. We are currently only planning on one child, so I would want it to grow with them. If you are going to have multiple children, I say why not? Cute crib though.
I think it depends on how much it costs, if it's on the lower end and you plan to have more than one then I say go for it. Otherwise, I'd probably keep looking.?
HEE - I had a twin bed all the way through college so if yours converts that far there's no need to ever get a new one until they get married really lol.?
We definitely want more than one child, which is why I don't care if it turns into a headboard for a full bed. I guess what I'm asking is how important is that it converts to an in-betweenie bed like this one for example:
We're definitely not getting a convertible crib, and while there is an option for toddler bed conversion on what we are getting, we're not going to bother. I don't see what's wrong with going straight from crib to a real bed. I think that if you like this one a lot, I wouldn't skip it just because it didn't convert from one to the other.

I don't think it's necessary. My friends have been able to go straight from crib to big boy/big girl beds without too much fuss or trouble. You can always buy separate railings or guards for a normal bed if you are concerned about toddlers rolling out of bed.

The only reason I want a convertible is because we are only having ONE child unless that baby comes as a multiple! And for us its worth the extra in the long run for not having to purchase multiple stage beds for our one child.
