I've had many nights this week where I'm having 5-6 contractions an hour and I start to think "this is the night". Then in the morning, things have completely slowed down. Last night was particularly intense and I kept waking up. Does this happen to anyone else?
Re: Contractions so much worse at night?
I have noticed this! The past two nights have been really bad and when I wake up in the morning I think "it has to be today" - but then the contractions are more mild and less frequent (still there though). I have no idea why they are worse at night but it really makes sleeping difficult. It also causes anxiety because I'm wondering if I should call my Dr, but then I don't want to make a middle of the night call unless its the real deal.
Although I don't wish it upon anyone I'm glad to hear someone else is going through it - makes it feel more "normal"
ETA: Just noticed our due dates are very close
I have this as well. I always start to panic, because for me its still too early for her to come.
Last night was the worse.

Add me to the list...mine are worse at night and then taper off at some point. I have a few during the day, but nothing like in the evenings and once I go to bed.
Tuesday night I thought for sure something was happening. Of course, Thursday at my Dr appt I was still not dialated or effaced at all...and today, on my due date, I am STILL waiting!!!!
