100% effaced, no dilation

Anyone ever hear of anything like this before? The midwife who checked me asked several times if I wanted to just go into L&D, but I opted to wait it out. She said that if my contractions get closer than 10 minutes apart to go in (I'm scheduled for a repeat c-section on our due date: 11/11/11). I really want to wait it out, but she said unless someone else takes the girls while I lay on the couch for the next week, that I probably wouldn't make it. ???

  • She also said that there was no way baby could be any lower...I guess that explains this hip pain!!

  • I'm not due until 11/28, got checked today and I'm 100% effaced and not dilated.  DH's paternity leave doesn't start till Nov 20, and our Dr. told us if we wanted to hold out till then that I should consider more bedrest.  I'm not supposed to go in until my contractions are 5 min apart for at least 2 hours with unbearable pain that i can't walk, talk or smile through.
