How Many Teeth??

How many teeth should my 19 month old (almost 20 month) have? Collin currently has 16 teeth. I cannot tell if he already has his two year molars or could these be the culprit for the damn diaper rash that he is STILL suffering from. Any insight is oh so welcome!

    16 teeth is everything but the 2nd year molars - he could be working on those early. My little guy has started drooling, fussing, and shoving his hands in his mouth again lately so I'm thinking those pesky molars might be starting to make their way...

    Elliott is 20 months and has 16 teeth.  His 2 year molars haven't come in yet, but he has been a drooling machine for a few weeks now.

    Ok, thanks for the info. I thought he had a lot of teeth for his age...but I guess not..and will be taking a flash light to his mouth tomorrow....gonna do some investigating. Wink

    DS is almost 18 months and we still only have 4. Yep, 4! Top fronts and bottom fronts. You can see all his other ones just below the gums, and they are super swollen, and he's constantly drooling/chewing, but still nothin. Its killing me. I have a feeling once the next one FINALLY pops through they all will come. I am jealous of all your DS's teeth!

    And to answer your question, my nephew started cutting his 2 year molars around 20 months. It took him about 2 months to completely cut them, so yes. Definitely could be those starting early.
