Kaiden is terrible, trendy, and there will be 12 others in his grade. It doesn't sound grown-up or professional. Don't give up - you can find one that you love!
How about: Colin
Cullen
Callum
Connor
Keegan
Keenan
If there are 12 Kaidens there will be 25 Connors and Colins
I like it, but this type of name is becoming really popular - I know of 2 Brayden James and 1 Hayden James that were born this year - that's just in my town. It's cute but I think it's on the popular rise. I also know several little boys named Cayden - which is spelled different but sounds the same.
Like James. Kaiden makes me go nerdy and think of Mass Effect, but that's me. I also agree with the others it's kind of trendy. Just NMS. I wouldn't mind Caden as much.
I love James! I think Aidan James is nice and less trendy sounding than Kaiden.

Not even close. There were 18,550 "Kaidens" (various spellings) born last year.
Only 11,504 "Connors." Only 6,380 "Collins."
I like Callum, Colin, and Keegan. Also like Keaton.
Thank you. I am amazed at how many people think Connor is soooooo popular. When in reality, there were more babies named Jordan and Isaac and Gavin last year (I only pick those because I have never heard them accused of being "trendy").
I'm not saying Connor is super unique, just that it isn't a name like Aidan. (Or Brayden or Jayden for that matter).

Re: wdyt of.
I know a Kayden James. I'm sorry to say I strongly dislike this trend. You'll find something, don't get discouraged.

I agree. These names are all overdone. But if you love it, you should use it.
Have you tried nymbler.com? You can type in some names you like and it generates names with a similar feel. Could be a source of inspiration.

How can a trendy, made-up name have a "correct" spelling? Just curious...
My DH is James, and we knew our son's middle name would be James. We ultimately decided on Adam James.
Proud mother of two breech babies:)
Can't stand the -aiden / -ayden names in any of their forms. So trendy and overdone.
Sorry.
Is this pronounced like Kai-den or Kay-den?
Kaiden
James
